Scavenger Hunt
Last Saturday night, about 25 of our youth converged on the town and community for a Scavenger Hunt. But, this hunt was a little different. Instead of items that we were collecting from our friends and families, we were collecting completed actions from those people. After they completed the task, they were ask to give us their autograph. Both teams had about 1 ½ hours to complete the hunt, and both teams were successful in completing their list. Afterward, we went to the West house to eat pizza and tell all our funny stories about the hunt. There were several pictures and videos that were used to record the evening. Some of the activities were: doing 10 jumping jacks, burping, running around your house, singing two lines of “Old McDonald”……etc. The “Old McDonald” one was funny for both teams. One had the drive thru lady at McDonalds sing it to them through the speaker. The other team had Josh Frost sing it while at the drive thru speaker of Wendy’s. Coach Pace ran around his house for one team, and the other team had a local Auto Parts Store clerk do the jumping jacks. All in all, we had a great time of fun and fellowship while making some wonderful memories.
