Kim the love of my life for over 35 years. Children: Lindsey & Chris, and sons Ian, Steele, Jacks and Max and daughter, Bennett. They attend Shady Grove. David Jacks Jr. (DJ) & Leslyn, and sons Emmett, Miles, and Declan live in Katy, TX. DJ is a tax manager for U.S. Medical Equipment. They attend Kingsland Baptist Church. Jonathan Jacks (Jon Jon) & Jarah, Jayney Jo, Owen Jay, and Halle live in Little Rock. Jon is a commercial property manager for Kelly Commercial Properties. They attend East Union Baptist Church. . I’m Blessed.
My Passion:
My passion is for the Body of Christ, the local church. There is nothing like the local church when the local church is working right. The local church has been entrusted with carrying the life changing message of Jesus Christ, and it’s the only hope that I see for this hurting and broken world. There’s nothing else like it. Not only does the local church help lost people come to faith, it helps the lonely, broken-hearted people cope with the cruelty of evil in this world. I love to lead, preach, dream, and pastor. My dream is to see this local church, Shady Grove thrive through leadership, evangelism, and outreach, by keeping Jesus at the center of all we do.
Interests:
My Grandsons. Crappie Fishing. Working on projects around our house with Kim. Something you might not know about me: I love woodwork projects and especially with my boys when they come home.
One other interesting thing about me….I’ve never eaten a salad.

My Family: My beautiful wife Jordan and a precious little boy Elliot Lane!
My Story: When I was 9 years old, I remember asking my parents questions about what it meant to be saved. They shared scriptures with me, and I accepted Jesus as my Savior!
Fast forward to graduating from Monticello High School, to serving as the summer children's intern at Shady Grove, to ultimately surrendering to God's calling on my life on January 19, 2019. I'm enrolled at Central Arkansas Baptist Bible Institute pursuing a bachelor's degree in apologetics.
My Passion: To pour God's Word into young kids lives every chance I get. To train them to be a WITNESS for Him. Proverbs 22:6
My Interests: Hunting, Fishing
Something you don't know about me: I'm a huge Mississippi State fan!!
